BUCKWHEAT SLICE - FOOD ALLERGY FRIENDLY

Heard of? Made? Or Tasted Weetbix Slice? This is the Food Allergy Safe version. FREE from WHEAT, EGGS, NUTS, DAIRY and SOY.















Base Ingredients:
75g Toasted Buckwheat crackers blended/crushed
1 CUP Corn Flour
1 TBS Cocoa
1 cup Sugar 
155g Dairy Free Spread (Nuttelex)

Top Ingredients:
2 TSP Dairy Free Spread (Nuttelex)
1 1/2 CUPS icing sugar
2 TBS cocoa
2 - 4 TBS warm water (Enough to thin icing)

Base
Crush Buckwheat crackers and add to a mixing bowl, along with cornflour, Sugar and Cocoa mixing until well  combine.
Melt Dairy Free Spread and poor over dry ingredients, mix together.
Press mixture into a lined slice tray and bake in a oven pre heated to 180c for 20min.


Top
Melt Dairy Free Spread in saucepan, add icing sugar, cocoa and the water, mixing until smooth.
Poor over the top of the slice base.


Once cool remove from tin and slice.
